Nepal Airlines Co-operation celebrated its first annual Dubai flight operation anniversary today. The on board Airbus A320 9N-AKW flying Nepal from Dubai with scheduled flight number RA-230 had celebrated the completion of annual Dubai flight operation anniversary by conducting refreshment activities today.
Flight crew along with the on-board passengers together celebrated the anniversary. Authorities from the airlines had organized cake cutting ceremony in the on board Airbus aircraft to mark the celebration of its anniversary.
National Carrier had also awarded a round trip ticket from Kathmandu- Dubai-Kathmandu to a passenger winning the lucky draw. Besides, mementos were also awarded to five lucky passengers to mark the anniversary celebration.
Nepal Airlines with the motive to support the Nepali passengers with comfort travel had started its first direct flight operation to Dubai from August 18 last year after the arrival of its second Airbus A320 narrow body aircraft.
Authorities from the airlines have also expressed their greetings and thanks to entire passengers, travel agency and media partners for supporting them to successfully accomplish a yearlong Dubai flight operation.
According to a airlines report, Nepal Airlines has operated a total number of 187 flights to Dubai by on boarding 22480 passengers during the yearlong operation.
Flag Carrier of Nepal had earlier started the flight operation with three flights flying every week flying to Dubai. At present, NAC operates four flights every week for Dubai and has planned to add an additional flight after the arrival of its A330 Airbus wide-body aircraft.
