Nepal Airlines Both Airbus 320 aircraft scheduled for maintenance at TIA

Nepal Airlines also called National Flag Carrier of Nepal the Airbus 320-233 registered 9N-AKX ‘Lumbini’ made an emergency landing at Tribhuvan International Airport; Kathmandu today at around 3:45 PM after the pilots detected smoke inside the cockpit. The flight that departed Delhi, Indira Gandhi International Airport at 1:35 PM and arrived Kathmandu at 3:45 PM.
Another Airbus 320-233 REGISTRATION; 9N-AKW ‘Sagarmatha’ of NAC also lies grounded on the hangar after having problem in Engine Pressure Ratio (EPR) system of the aircraft from Saturday. This aircraft needs to have its sensor relay box replaced which is arriving at the hangar facility late today or by tomorrow.
Currently, the national flag carrier Nepal Airlines is marching on the path of intense struggle, darkness and huge loss after it’s both Airbus 320-233 aircraft handling the international flight sectors, are undergoing maintenance at Tribhuvan International Airport.
