Nepal Airlines announces flight to UAE

National Flag carrier Nepal Airlines is all set to launch four more flight to United Arab Emirates (UAE) from Kathmandu from Sunday.
The airline has been conducting commercial flights from Kathmandu to the Gulf countries by its European made Airbus 320-233 Aircraft. There are only three flights per week in this route.
Due to increase in number of passengers, Nepal Airlines has planned to operate four flights in a week by its two Airbus aircraft. The flights are are scheduled for Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the UAE route and will be airborne at 4:10 AM from Kathmandu, noted the country manager for NAC Mr. Ramesh Paudel.
Previously, Nepal Airlines has flown in this sector of Kathmandu Dubai continuously for 8 years. But after gaining only loss in the flight of this sector Kathmandu-Dubai-Doha-Dubai-Kathmandu the operation was shut in 2011. Afterward it has only been flying to Doha the straight flights.
Also Nepal Airline Corporation (NAC), on the festive occasion has allowed 30 kg luggage and 7 kg hand carry free baggage and also the in-flight food and soft drink will be served free of cost. The passengers would be allowed to carry Television set on their cargo at 30 percent concession.
