Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) and E-sewa have signed agreement for online ticketing. Agreement was signed by Sugat Ratna Kansakar, General Manager of NACand Roshan Lamichhane, CEO of E-Sewa and customer can now purchase ticket from E-sewa.
It is believed that the online ticketing of the Corporation will also support market expansion of the airline. Earlier, Buddha Air, Shree Airlines, Yeti Airlines, Simrik Air, Saurya Airlines tickets could be purchased from E-sewa. With the agreement, now passengers will be able to buy tickets for international flights also and Lamichhane stated that they are pleased to cooperate with the corporation.
E-sewa is the first payment Gateway approved from Nepal Rastra Bank which has been a popular phone pay application to pay mobile bills, internet, and electricity, drinking water bills along with bus ticket, school bills, and Air tickets too.
Previously, Corporation and digital financial services provider IME Pay had signed an agreement for purchasing air tickets.
