Nepal Airlines Corporation Airbus “Sagarmatha” flew at 8:00 AM for the first commercial flight to India’s capital Delhi on Friday with one hundred one passengers on board. The Aircraft returned from Delhi with forty four passengers. Airbus Capt. Methaisa and Nepali co-pilot S Rijal flew the aircraft. Nepal Airlines had recently scheduled Kathmandu-Delhi Route for four days per week.
According to the Nepal Airlines Spokeman Hari Ram Sharma, The International destination increased and reached to five. It is said that this was the great success for NAC to place a re-Delhi flight.
Recently Nepal Airlines Corporation has two Boeing 757 Aircraft with 190 Seats, which is flying to Doha, Malaysia, Honkong and Bangkok. Airbus seat capacity is 1 hundred 58. The first flight to Delhi on Wednesday was cancelled by NAC due to documentation process.
