Nepal Airlines Airbus 320-233 ‘Lumbini’ back to its service

National Flag Carrier of Nepal “Nepal Airlines” serving the international routes by the European made two Airbus 320-233 both aircraft has recently passed through the worthy situation at the festive situation after both the Airbus made emergency landings at TIA.
Airbus registered as ‘9N-AKX’ called ‘Lumbini’ of Nepal Airlines recently made an emergency landing at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu on September-24 at around 3:45 PM after the flight crew noted the smoke inside the cockpit. And also the another Airbus 320-233 REGISTRATION; 9N-AKW ‘Sagarmatha’ of NAC also lied grounded on the hangar after having problem in Engine Pressure Ratio (EPR) system of the aircraft which now is back to the Sky.
The Corporation Engineers have completed inspection of the aircraft ‘9N-AKX’ that encountered the Malfunction of the ‘Sensor Relay Box’, Engine Pressure Ratio (EPR) system, Smoke Detector and a Fire extinguisher inside the cargo.
All the problems on the aircraft are now resolved by replacing the parts by new and the Aircraft will be released today from the Nepal Airlines Hangar. The aircraft now is now preparing to continue its scheduled flight after being inspected at Tribhuvan International Airport for 3 days. The aircraft will be back to sky enroute Kathmandu-Dubai flight RA229, said the officials for NAC.
