Nepal Airlines Airbus A320 ‘9N-AKW’ has been grounded at Doha Hamad International Airport, Qatar after encountering some technical glitch in its one engine.
The aircraft with flight number ‘RA239’ landed Hamad International Airport at 11:22 pm local time yesterday when it encountered problem in its one engine.
It will be back into operation after necessary maintenance which may take some time so, the corporation has already informed passengers about the possible change in flight schedule.
NAC has also apologized for the inconvenience caused to the passengers.
At present, NAC is operating international flights with two A320s and an A330. The second A330 ‘Makalu’ will also join the service soon as it is waiting for the approval from Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
