NATTA suggests to expand air service for tourism sector enhancement

Nepal Association of Travel and Tour Agents (NATTA) has demanded to expand the air service for the development of tourism sector.

President of NATTA has requested Managing Director of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) and high administrators to initiate for partnership with foreign airlines to increase the capacity of the national flag carrier to develop Nepal tourism sector at a meeting held on August 16, 2018 (yesterday).

It is reported that Nepal Airlines advertising strategy is weak, adding that the high utilization of new technology should be shown to be effective in the market.

NATTA has requested NAC to provide and maintain the quality service.

According to the first vice president of NATTA, the corporation should expand flight operation to different cities of the neighboring country, China.

“We can welcome a huge number of Chinese tourists if the corporation operates a direct flight between Nepal and China”, the vice president said. However, NAC has not yet received permissions to fly to China.

During the meeting, Sugat Ratna Kansakar, Managing Director of NAC expressed confidence to work on all the demand of NATTA as soon as possible.
