Nepal Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA) on 30 August, 2017 organized a Blood Donation Camp and Free Health Check-Up camp with the cooperation of Nobel Hospital Pvt. Ltd. at the Union Hall of country sole international airport, TIA.
According to Mahendra Humagai, ATC officer at TIA, the program was especially organized to mark their special eve of International Air Traffic Controllers’ day. Mr. Umesh Kumar Panthi President of NATCA inaugurated the Health Check-up program by the going through the general health Checkup likewise the blood donation program was inaugurated by Mr. Tej Bhadur Budthapa Vice-President for NATCA by donating the blood.
The program was started at 10:00 AM and was concluded at 15:30 local time in which 53 blood donors and 141 Free Health Check-up was done which includes many aviation stakeholders of Nepal, enthusiasts working in the current Nepali aviation industry and Nepali aviation of the group as the program was organized at the premises of TIA. NATCA has stated that the Association has always kept cooperating social responsibility as its priority and has been organizing such event.
