Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) grounded A320 ‘9N-AKW’ is currently being inspected by the engineering team from Doha. Corporation’s spokesperson Rabindra Shrestha informed that the engineering team from Nepal will undergo necessary maintenance after the inspection.
Engineering team from Nepal will depart Doha for the maintenance protocols once the inspection team informs detail about the problem and the type of maintenance required.
However, the required time for the completion of maintenance is unknown as the problem has not been identified and the engineering team have to reach Doha, added Mr. Shrestha.
Airbus A320 ‘9N-AKW’ has been grounded at Doha Hamad International Airport, Qatar from Friday night (August 10) after it encountered some technical glitch in its one engine.
NAC has also apologized for the inconvenience caused to the passengers as the flights have to be rescheduled causing delays and loss to the national flag carrier.
