As per the 3 days audit conducted by IATA (International Air Transport Association) on ground handling service of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), the audit chief Mr. Boer has informed that the service of NAC is being listed among 180 other ground handling companies who provide qualitative service.
IATA completed 3 days audit on July 27, 2018 (Friday) and concluded the report with a positive result.
NAC is focusing on being competitive for expanding its service to international platform. It is also expecting to receive IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certificate soon.
International Air Transportation Agency (IATA) has already listed Nepal Airlines as an ISAGO certified organization. IATA had confirmed the approval of Nepal Airlines as an ISAGO (IATA’s Safety Audit for Ground Operation) certified organization on 30th March, 2017.
IATA approval of ISAGO certification has made Nepal Airlines the country’s first and only international certified governmental organization. As been reported, the flag carrier had satisfied IATA with its quality ground handling service to receive the ISAGO certificate.
The certificate has been awarded to Nepal Airlines for its quality ground handling service of TIA. At present, almost 222 ground handling companies including Nepal airlines have been ISAGO certified by IATA.
