Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), RA230 flight from Dubai International Airport to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) was diverted to New Delhi this morning after a passenger allegedly ‘misbehaved’ with flight attendants and other passengers at the flight.
According to the source, the Airbus A320 ‘9N-AKW’ was under the command of Sr. Captain Shyam Krishna Dhewaju along with Captain Sanjay Baidhya and flight attendant Subina Shrestha and was scheduled to land at the airport in Kathmandu at 09:25 AM NST this morning.
The crew handed over the accused to airport police at New Delhi after the flight landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport. The flight took off from Delhi at around 12:04 PM and landed TIA at about 1:28 PM. After the diversion of the flight other schedule flight of NAC has been delayed, added source.
