The state-owned flag carrier of Nepal, Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) invites application from Competent and eligible Type Rated Examiners (TRE) and Type Rated Instructors (TRI) along with line captains for their airbus fleet on contractual basis. The airline has invited application from competent and eligible pilots for their Airbus A330 and A320 series aircraft.
The interested qualified individuals are requested to submit their application to the email address: hrplanning@nac.com.np or vacancy2019.nac@gmail.com. They are requested to submit their applications along with CV and documents of eligibility within 15 days from the first day of publication of the notice which was on 16th February.
The airline has opened vacancy for 2 TRE pilots and 3 TRI pilots for A330 series aircraft and 8 Line captain and 3 TRI pilots for A320 series aircraft.
The pilots should have qualification and requirement of validA330/A320 Left/Right Seat type rated course completed to satisfaction from designated TRTO and rating endorsed on ICAO/EASA/FAA license, have class 1 medical from same Civil Aviation Authority as of License issuance, passport valid for at least six months and have all the trainings and proficiency checks as required by Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal valid at the time of induction to Nepal Airlines which are not limited to pilot proficiency check, refresher training, CRM, DGR, Emergency Procedures, Low Visibility Procedures (CAT II, CATIII) and, Computer Based Training (systems), RVSM and RNP.
The pilots should also pass Simulator/Line check with company check airmen and/or CAAN, ICAO/EASA/FAA English Level IV Certificate or higher as well as basic requirements for each positioned pilots as stated by NAC.
The initial contract will be for a minimum period of one year and may be extended as per requirement and the appointment is subject to approval from concerned authorities of Nepal. Selected individuals will be contacted through email and the Corporation reserves the right to accept/reject any application.
The flag carrier is operating international flights with 1 Boeing 757, 2 Airbus A320s and 2 Airbus A330s wide-body aircraft operate international flights to 7 destinations around the world. The airline is in process to sell the only left vintage Boeing in near future and expand its Airbus fleet to various long-haul as well as short-haul destinations.
