NAC seeking proposal for GSA at Saudi Arabia

National flag carrier of the country, Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has issued a notice of request for proposal for General Sales Agent (GSA) appointment at Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The government owned airline stated that the notice has been issued to acquire application from interested and qualified Passenger and Cargo Agents located in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The airline has mentioned some criteria to be eligible as GSA for both Passenger and Cargo Service. It has also mentioned to fulfill some obligation and rules to be followed.

The sealed proposals must be sent to agency section under commercial department of the corporation.

The notice was published on December 26, 2018 and bidders are requested to submit proposal within 15 days from the day the notice was issued.

The airline had been going under long process to make scheduled flights to Saudi Arabia along with other 3 new destinations in 2019. The corporation has also been planning to add scheduled flights to Korea, Japan and China.

Last year the corporation had invited Sealed Quotations from all the interested Commercial Ground Handling Service Provider (Authorized by the concerned Airport Authority/Local Civil Aviation Authority) for providing Ground Handling at King Khalid International Airport (RUH) located at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Currently, NAC operates its flight to Delhi, Bangalore, Bombay, Kualalumpur, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Doha and Dubai.
