NAC opens vacancy for B1 and B2 category AME for its A330 series aircraft; also invites tender for providing guarding service

Nepal airlines corporation (NAC) invites application from competent Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) for Airbus A330-200 series aircraft on contractual basis. The airline has invited for competent B1 and B2 category AME.
The airlines has opened vacancy for 1 each on one category.

B1 category AME should have minimum of full EASA part 66 B1 category license in A330-200 aircraft fitted with RR Trent 700 engine with at least 4 years of minimum experience on similar aircraft along with Engine high power Run-up privilege, Engine Boroscope privileges preferable, Experience in structure repair is preferable, dual related (B1&B2 cat license) is preferable.

For B2 category, candidate should have full EASA 66 B2 category license in A330-200 aircraft fitted with RR Trent engine with at least 4 years of maintenance experience on similar aircraft and Dual related (B1 &B2 cat license) is preferable.

The contract will be for a minimum period of one year initially and may be extended as per requirement and the appointment is subject to approval from concerned authorities of Nepal. Selected individuals will be contacted through email and the Corporation reserves the right to accept/reject any application.

The interested qualified individuals are requested to submit their application to the email address: hrplanning@nac.com.np or vacancy2019.nac@gmail.com. They are requested to submit their applications along with CV and documents of eligibility within 15 days from the first day of publication of the notice which was on 28th February 2019.

The airline has also called for sealed tender notice for providing of Guarding Service on Service Contract for its Head Office, Airport and other Regional Offices as required from interested registered organization.

The tender will be for 2 year period and is subjected to renew/extend for additional year upon successfully delivery of quality services during service contract period.

Tender Application Form and Documents can be obtained from Registry Section, Head Office NAC on any working days during office hours within 30 days from the first date of publication of this Notice upon cash payment of Rs. 3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only), which is non-refundable. Notice was published on 28 February.

It should be submitted to the Registry Section not later than 12:00 noon on 31st day from the first date of publication of this Notice. In case of public holiday on last purchase and opening date, tender proceeding will be considered for next consequential day.

Sealed Tender documents shall be opened in the presence of the bidder or their Authorized Representatives at 2:00 p.m. on the last submission day. However the document can be opened even in the absence of the bidder or their authorized representatives.

NAC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning any reasons whatsoever. NAC also reserves the right to hold or withdraw or cancel the process at any stage under intimation to the bidder and any application after the specified date and time would not be entertained as stated on the notice.
