NAC issues Request for Proposal to hire A320 on wet-lease

May 1, 2017-KATHMANDU

National Flag Carrier, Nepal Airlines has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to all lessors, manufacturers, airlines, aircraft owners, and banks for the short-term wet-lease of one A320-200.

Tender documents indicate the contract will run for a period of forty-five (45) days, extendable to sixty (60), effective from July 16, 2017.

Eligible aircraft should feature a dual seat configuration i.e economical and business for use to NAC on its routes to Kuala Lumpur Int’l, Doha Hamad Int’l, Delhi Int’l, and Bangalore Int’l from  Kathmandu base including Kuala Lumpur Int’l, Doha Hamad Int’l, Delhi Int’l, and Bangalore Int’l among others.

The last day for the submission of proposals has been marked on May 8, 2017.

Nepal Airlines currently operates flight operation with two of its own A320-200s.
