National flag carrier Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) invites interested person/company for sale of one Boeing 757 aircraft. According to the notice, the interested parties must contact at Corporate Department, Nepal Airlines Corporation, Kantipath, Kathmandu, Nepal in the Office hours not later than 13th of July 2017.
NAC announced the Global Tender for second time to Auction its Boeing 757-200 Karnali “9N-ACA” Aircraft on May 31st this year and it ended on June 12. Previously, NAC had officially conducted an auction for selling the Boeing aircraft on April 10 this year however; NAC’s Boeing 757 aircraft failed to attract even a single bidder but had received lone foreign bidder through second notice.
However, the failure of agreement has compelled NAC to once again invite interested person or company to negotiate the sale of Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
NAC is receiving pressure due to failure in selling one of the Boeing aircraft whereas the occasional grounding of another Boeing 757 has been disturbing the international flight operations and building pressure on two Airbus A320s.
The corporation is also trying to wet lease one A319/A320/A321 aircraft to enhance its international flight and release pressure on its two Airbus A320s. The negotiation on wet lease agreement of Airbus A319 between NAC and Bhutan Airlines is going on and will be finalized soon as NAC is trying to receive the aircraft by the second week of July.
