NAC increase flights at domestic sector; will resume flights to Taplejung

Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), national flag carrier has intensified the service extension in domestic flights, mainly at STOL. With the plan of operating flights at the commercial perspective destination, the corporation is making domestic flights effective.

National flag carrier which has not been able to operate flights at STOL for a long time has started selling tickets for Kathmandu-Taplejung flight.

The corporation has reduced the rate of air ticket and announced to operate flights from next Wednesday on October 10, 2018. Previously, the corporation which charged Rs 7460, is selling the ticket at the rate of Rs 6000. It has also published flight schedule according to which the corporation will operate flights twice a week on Wednesday and Friday.

Similarly, Summit Air has also announced to operate a weekly flight at Suketar Airport. The carrier failed to operate the flight on October 1, 2018, due to adverse weather.

The flight to Taplejung will ease tourist aiming to visit Kanchanjunga, Kanchanjunga Conservation Area and Pathibhara Devi temple. Passengers were relieved on hearing the news about the recommencing flights during the festive season.
