NAC ignoring staff hiring procedures
NAC has been recruiting new staff members under contract and under influence ignoring permanent appointment procedures from the past two months. NAC announced openings on 4-6 level job positions for different 148 placements.
According to source, NAC overlooked 41 thousand applicant’s application. These positions were filled by staff’s close relatives, members of parliament recommended personnel. Previously, Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Kripasur Sherpa pressured NAC to appoint 30 of his men.
The staff union members are against the covenant hire process. According to the Director of Human Resource Department, Manoj Shah, “NAC formed a seven-member committee a week ago to remove such contract hire but failed to apply any action.”
