NAC A320 9N-AKX (Lumbini): Grounded From 19 Days
The collision by small foreign object with the middle part of main landing gear of Lumbini had resulted dent and scratch of it, which made the aircraft grounded. It has been 19 days from the day of incident, the aircraft is still grounded.
As the required part has been received by NAC yesterday, it might take 2-3 more days for the aircraft to return to operation again stated one of the engineer of NAC. The grounding of A320 (Lumbini) and the time taken for its maintenance have exposed the capability of management team of NAC said one of the senior pilot of the corporation.
