Mountain flight conducted from Biratnagar

Yeti has operated a mountain flight from Biratnagar on Saturday. The mountain flight was operated for the first time in the aviation history of Biratnagar. Trade Council of Morang analyzing the current ongoing Birat Expo had chartered Yeti’s 9N-AIH registered Jetstream41 aircraft for the mountain flight yesterday.
Twenty-two passengers were onboard in Yeti’s aircraft during the take off for the mountains from Biratnagar airport on Saturday. Chief District Officer of Morang Yagyaraj Koirala, D.I.G of Eastern Region Police Ramesh Bhattarai, President of Morang Trade Council Mukesh Upadhya, Businessman Nandu Rathi and Entrepreneur of Travel agency and Hospitality Bhavesh Shrestha along with others had traveled with Yeti’s chartered mountain flight.
Travel Agent and Hospitality Entrepreneur Bhavesh Shrestha had reported that the onboard passengers on Jetstream41 aircraft had viewed Mt. Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Gauri Shankar and many other Himalaya’s mountains during the fifty minutes long adventurous mountain flight. He also added that the Trade Council of Morang also plans to conduct mountain flights from Biratnagar to attract maximum visitors from Western Bengal region.
The officer from Nepal Tourism Board reported that flying Indian visitors for the mountain flight from Biratnagar would really be very helpful to promote the tourism aspects of the eastern region. He had also added that the Nepal Tourism Board is dedicated to promoting the tourism aspects of the eastern region of the country.
Morang Trade Council had kicked off the Birat Trade Expo by adding Helicopter City Ride in the event this year. Locals from Biratnagar and nearby towns are enjoying the Helicopter City ride with Mountain Air’s helicopter.
Mountain Air is conducting daily ten take-offs from the expo venue at just Nrs. 7,500 per individuals for ten minutes long aerial view of the city.
