Ministry plans to equip all the airports with free WiFi facility

Ministry for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA) has started initiation to equip all airports around the country with free WiFi service.

The meeting was held at MoCTCA yesterday under the presence of Minister Rabindra Adhikari addressing the introduction of free WiFi service to every airports of the country.

As per the conclusion from the meeting, the domestic terminal of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) will be equipped with free service within a month and then the service will be expanded to other airports as soon as possible.

Nepal Government has allocated budget of Rs 19.35 billion for development and progress of aviation industry for Fiscal year 2075/2076.

The government said that the high technology approach will be used to expedite aviation infrastructure with required skilled manpower. The government has made necessary plans to upgrade domestic airport all over the country and the Wifi service is one of the service to be introduced.
