Minister Mahat requests European Union

February 16, 2017-Brusels, Belgium 

Foreign affairs minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat requests European Union to release its band on Nepal aviation during his visit to Belgium. Minister Mahat’s press coordinator Eak Raj Pathak reported that Foreign Minister during his official visit with Federica Mogherini Vice President and High Representative of Foreign Affairs & Security Policy for EU on Wednesday had requested for the release of band from Nepali aviation.

EU clamming Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal’s negligence on flight safety have been banding the Nepali aviation.

Minister Mahat adding the current improvisation made by CAAN regarding the flight safety in Nepal had proposed Federica Mogherini to release the band.

Vice President of EU Federica Mogherini spoke that she will forward the current proposal of Nepal’s aviation to EU’s aviation depart and will request the team for the further procedure in the response to Dr. Mahat’s request.
