Recently Appointed Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA), Mr. Rabindra Adhikari said that adding more aircraft to the fleet and reforming the management at Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is necessary to strengthen the legacy of the national flag carrier.
During an inspection at the corporation on Tuesday, Minister Adhikari also urged officials of NAC to equally focus on internal policies, social services and competitive financial policies to take NAC to a newer height.
Adhikari also stressed on the need to produce more pilots in the country itself as the entire globe has been currently facing crunch of pilots. Meanwhile, Sugat Ratna Kansakar, MD of NAC, said unavailability of ample number of aircraft along with competent crews has been hindering growth of NAC.
