MI-17 lands Chauni with dead Colonel Pilot Kailash Gurung and injured Purna Khadka

The dead body of Captain Kailash Gurung, Colonel Pilot of Nepal Army has been brought at Chauni Army hospital by MI-17 helicopter. The dead body of Colonel Pilot along with injured Purna Khadka had arrived Chauni at around 6 pm local time. Both the body and injured Purna Khadka were airlifted from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu.
The chopper was not able to airlift Major Pilot Anita Ale Magar due to her critical health condition. Major Anita is yet being treated at an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a medical institute at Nepalgunj. Nepal Army has decided to airlift Major Pilot Anita to Chauni after her improving health condition. Doctors from the medical institute at Nepalgunj had prohibited to airlift Major Anita due to her worsening health conditions.
Colonel Pilot Kailash was announced death hours earlier and flight technician Purna Khadka to have been suffered from major injuries. The health condition of Major Pilot Anita is very critical and was airlifted to Nepalgunj from Bajura Airport by a Sita Air Dornier aircraft. Purna Khadka too is critical and is currently being treated at Chauni Army hospital.
The crash incident of the Army Skytruck aircraft at Bajura Airport has resulted in one death and two fatal injuries so far.
