Manang Air to take delivery of new H125 chopper by February 2018

Manang Air Private Limited, founded in 1997, sets a pace for the industry and expands the scope of operating helicopters in commercial air transportation within the Nepalese territory.

Talking with Aviation Nepal, Manang Air notified that the company will be welcoming its new French Manufactured H125 chopper by the early of February, 2018 and will operate within Nepal for commercial flight purpose. As stated by Manang Air, the Helicopter is planned to be dispatched from Airbus Helicopter Southeast Asia, Singapore as a ferry flight from Singapore to Nepal.

The H125 (previously named the AS350 B3e) outclasses all other single-engine helicopters for performance, versatility, safety, low maintenance, and low acquisition costs, while excelling in high and hot and extreme environments. It is a member of Airbus’ Ecureuil family, which has accumulated more than 30 million flight hours worldwide.

Manang Air is operating under the Regulation of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal as a Commercial Helicopter Operator. The Company also provides a personalized services to its clients in all the avenues of its flying, be it: adventure flights, search and rescue, medical evacuation, aerial work, helicopter excursions, expedition work and other customized flights as per the requirement of the clients. The area of operations of the Company is not only restricted to personalized services, but includes operation to support trekkers, pilgrims and also offer the air Logistics support to various government agencies of Nepal.
