Manang Air Helicopter Rescues British Tourist From Manaslu Region
Yesterday Hider Bon, a British citizen, had gone to Manaslu region of Nepal for Sightseeing. While he was hiking at Gumda of Machhakhola, he fell down 130m and was injured severely at around 4:45 pm.
Bon was carried to nearest health post of Machhakhola as soon as he fell down and injured .Today early morning, Manang Air helicopter called Lima Charlie with most experience and Senior Capt. Steven Bruce Bokan as Pilot In Command flew for immediate medical evacuation and patient was brought to Vayodha Hospital of Kathmandu for treatment.
Every year, several tourists are killed while hiking around Manaslu region as the path becomes sloppy and more dangerous during rainy season as concerned authorities are not giving proper attention for the development and safe tourism around Manaslu Region.
