Leopard disturbs TIA

April 3, 2017-Kathmandu

A leopard has disturbed the Tribhuvan International Airport flight operation this morning. It was reported that a senior pilot of Buddha Air had noticed a leopard at the airport province at around 7 am morning time today.

Airport authority after being notified about the incident had alarmed the airport staffs and passengers. The search operation for leopard by the security personnel had resulted in half an hour delay on flight operation at the airport.

According to a source, both the national and international flight operations were delayed this morning after the Buddha pilot noticed the wild creature at the airport.

Security officials at the airport had not yet found the creature and are continuously searching it. None of the individuals have been reported to be harmed by the animal.

Airport authority already has resumed the flight operation at TIA and the security officer is investigating the incident.

The entry of leopard at the airport has yet remained a mystery.
