Landing Wheels of Oman Air’s B737 Brusted During Emergency Landing

An Oman Air’s B737 with flight number WY241 and registration A40-BV from Muscat to Delhi had made an emergency landing as soon as the problem was detected in flight at around 6:00 am yesterday.

Landing wheel of Oman's wy241It has been reported that while taking out the landing gear to land at Indira Gandhi International Airport, two landing wheels of B737 had exploded.

According to the Indian aviation officials, All the 150 passengers on board in-flight WY241 are safe. The plane has been grounded for uncertain times.
