KLM Boeing 777 made an emergency landing at Palma de Mallorca. The aircraft was heading Accra Ghana from Amsterdam.

After a fire warning within the aircraft, a KLM Boeing 777-300ER registered PH-BVB flight KL589 from Amsterdam to Accra (Ghana) was forced to make an emergency landing on Saturday (10 July) at Son Sant Joan airport in Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands.
The fire seems to have started in one of the aircraft’s compartments. The emergency landing went off without a hitch.
The travelers stayed in Palma overnight. On Sunday, another Boeing 777-300ER (registered PH-BVV) landed from Amsterdam as flight KL585 to pick up the stranded passengers and complete the trip to Accra.
