The Kailash Helicopter Service Pvt Ltd has said that the company brought its first Airbus helicopter today for commercial operations in the country.
According to Company officials, the six-seater AS 350(H125) B3E chopper has been added to its fleet. The chopper with a call sign ‘9N-AML’ has landed at Tribhuvan International Airport at 2:20 PM (Local Time) today.
Assembled in Singapore-based Airbus Helicopters Southeast Asia Pvt Ltd, the chopper conducted long ferry flight via Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Bangladesh, the officials said.
The company currently is working on the documentations work to initiate its operation shortly.
The approximation for the single-engine chopper H125 would cost around 270 million rupees. The H125 Chopper is renowned globally for high altitude search and rescue work with an impressive cargo-swing load capacity.
The board of directors of the company includes the group of young entrepreneurs Captain Ashish Sherchan, Pratap Jung Pandey, Iswari Paudel. The young entrepreneurs also have their investment on Banking and Tourism sector.
According to the Airbus, the H125 series are currently in-service worldwide, and are mainly used for high performance missions in high & hot environment conditions. “The H125 is a member of Airbus Helicopters’ rugged and proven Ecureuil family and some 6,000 Ecureuils have been delivered in nearly 120 countries for some 1,800 operators.”
