Manang and Kailash helicopters are authorized to carry COVID patients

Manang and Kailash helicopters have obtained permission from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) to transport COVID patients. Both companies have reported that they have been offering services to patients from Saturday.


 Kailash Helicopter has told the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has allowed the flights in respect with the compliance of the Ministry of Health and Population and the World Health Organization’s required policy directives.


Chartered services will be offered to take COVID-19 patients to the specified hospital, in full compliance with the health safety standards, for adequate medication.
Kailash Helicopter claimed that well-facilitated operations with a team of health experts from the prestigious hospital, a patient isolation unit built by an internationally recognized company to carry covid patients.

Where Manang Air bought the isolation unit designed by the National Innovation Center.

Previously Simrik Air has initiated air ambulance services for COVID-19 patients after the approval from CAAN.
