The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) program is an internationally recognized and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline.
The IOSA audit creates a standard that is comparable on a world-wide basis, enabling and maximizing the joint use of audit reports. This has saved the industry over 6400 redundant audits and continues to lead to extensive cost-savings for IOSA participating airlines.
International Air Transportation Agency (IATA) has already listed Nepal Airlines as an ISAGO certified organization. The certificate has been awarded to Nepal Airlines for its quality ground handling service of TIA. IATA had confirmed the approval of Nepal Airlines as an ISAGO (IATA’s Safety Audit for Ground Operation) certified organization on 30th March, 2017.
Recently, IATA conducted 3 days audit on ground handling service of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) and the audit chief Mr. Boer informed that the service of NAC is being listed among 180 other ground handling companies who provide qualitative service. Now the corporation is waiting for the IOSA certificate to prove its flight safety and standards.
