Historic Moment for Yeti Airlines and Tara Air on the achievement of International safety standard
The prolific move of Yeti Airlines and Tara Air, after they successfully achieved the International Air Transport Association (IATA)’s ISSA (IATA Standard Safety Assessment) programme standard. On the observation of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, the basic safety audit programme was successfully carried out by ICF.
ISSA is a global aviation safety standard programme conducted by IATA, which has been acknowledge by the global aviation community as an airlines has maintained its quality safety standard. And now the Yeti Airlines and Tara Air – the wings of Yeti Airlines have now set this beach mark in South Asia, bearing the first airlines to achieve this global ISSA safety standard,” spoke by the Capt. Ravi Kansakar, Director of flight safety at Yet Airlines.
In addition, Kanskar said, we were finally awarded with this recognition after the long process of assessments of various documentation processes and its implementation to meet the global standards.
For the Nepali aviation, this is the historic moment for achieving this success and it helps to encourage other airlines to operate more efficiently keeping on mind about the safety requirements.
