Himalaya Airlines inauguration flight to Dammam today will take off from Kathmandu which will be Himalaya Airline’s new passenger route service, complementing the airlines’ existing sectors: Doha, Kuala Lumpur and Dubai.
The airline had stated to initiate direct Dammam flight daily and will operate its one of the three Airbus 320-214 on the route, offering 8 Business class and 150 Economy class seats for travellers on a regular basis.
The Flight H9 559 will depart from Kathmandu at 22:30 local time, arriving in Dammam at 00:25+1 hrs. The return flight H9 560 will depart Dammam at 01:50 local time, arriving in Kathmandu at 09:15 hrs. With its above average “On Time Performance” (OTP) record, the airline aims at ensuring a high level of reliability and punctuality to its passengers.
The airline has offered its Kathmandu – Dammam trip starting from 23,800 on one way and 38,000 Nepalese rupee towards round trip. For the return sector Dammam – Kathmandu, the airfare starts from SAR 850 for one way and SAR 1,360 for round trip excluding applicable taxes. The airline has also announced that there will be free baggage allowance up to 40 KG on Business and 30 KG on Economy class.
In Saudi Arabia, the airline has appointed Asfar Travel and Tourism as its General Sales Agents (GSA), who will represent the airline in Saudi Arabia and will be responsible for the airline’s sales and marketing, market development, reservations and ticketing services.
