Himalaya Airlines to fly daily for Doha

Himalaya Airlines is all set to launch daily direct flight to Doha, Qatar from Kathmandu starting 11th of July. The airline established with a joint investment of Nepali and Tibetan has been conducting commercial flights from Kathmandu by its European made Airbus 320-214 Aircraft.
According to the information reveled the flight will take off at 11:00 PM from Kathmandu and arrive 01:30 AM at the Doha and will take off from Doha at 02:30 AM and land at 10:15 AM in Kathmandu. Provided all the times are local times. The tickets will be provided at a promotional fare from Cleopatra Travel which is General Sales Agent (GSA) of the airline in Nepal.
Himalaya Airlines had successfully launched its inaugural scheduled flight to Doha on 31st of May, with 158 passengers on board. The flight had remarkable 100% passengers’ occupancy because of which the airline is highly positive towards success in the daily direct flight to destination Doha. The airline has already conducted flight to Colombo before. The flight to Colombo was maiden flight of Himalaya Airlines from which the airline started it first commercial flight officially.
The airline had acquired its first aircraft Airbus 320 on March 9. It aims to expand its fleet to 15 Airbus 320s in the next five years and connect Kathmandu with various cities in Asia and beyond. The company will introduce long-haul wide body aircraft of A330 family in due course of time for direct flights to Japan, Korea, Europe, Australia, and North America.
