Himalaya Airlines officially announces the launch of new direct flight to Dubai from Kathmandu

Himalaya Airlines today officially announces the launch of a new direct air service from Kathmandu to Dubai which will start on April 28, 2017. This will be Himalaya Airline’s new passenger route service, complementing the airlines’ existing sectors: Doha, Kuala Lumpur and Yangon.

With the launch of daily service, the airline will operate its one of the three Airbus 320-214 on the route, offering 8 Business class and 150 Economy class seats for travellers on a regular basis.

The Flight H9 557 will depart from Kathmandu at 10:40 local time, arriving in Dubai at 13:25 hrs. The return flight H9558 will depart Dubai at 14:25 local time, arriving in Kathmandu at 20:20 hrs. With its above average “On Time Performance” (OTP) record, the airline aims at ensuring a high level of reliability and punctuality to its passengers.

 “Dubai is one of the most exciting destinations for leisure and business travel and we feel privileged to offer greater competitive choice for our passengers” said Mr. Vijay Shrestha, Vice President- Administration. “We anticipate our service will contribute to the economy of Nepal by bringing new travellers from across our route network, at the same time expecting to be a good yield market for both inbound and outbound travel”.

The airline offers irresistible introductory round trip airfare starting from NPR 24,827.00 for Kathmandu-Dubai-Kathmandu and AED 350.00 for Dubai-Kathmandu-Dubai. Both rates are exclusive of applicable governmental taxes. The airline has appointed Fishtail Travel and Tourism LLC, Dubai as its General Sales Agents (GSA) for passenger in United Arab of Emirates, who will be responsible for the airline’s sales and marketing, market development, reservations and ticketing services representing the airline in Dubai.
