09 March 2016, Today at 2:15 (Nepal Local Time) the most awaited Private Airline – Himalayan Airlines’ first Airbus A320 9N-ALM has touched the Nepalese land.

In 2014 – Yeti Airlines had announced that it would resume international services in its new avatar Himalaya Airlines, collaboration pact with Himalaya Infrastructure Fund (HIF) Aviation Investment Company and Tibet Airlines.

After a year of long wait, finally today 9 March 2016 at 2: 15 (Nepali Time) – The first aircraft of Himalayan Airlines A320 Callsign 9N-ALM landed at TIA, Nepal.

The beauty A320 of Himalaya Airlines received a water canon salute as she taxis on TIA, international parking zone.

After the long vacant, Nepal Aviation again and finally handed with private International Airline – Himalaya Airlines and as per the source, the strategy bearing by the Himalaya Airlines, anticipated to bring drastic, constructive  change in Nepal Aviation Skin.

Flight Schedule

From 12 April, they will begin their international flight from Nepal sky with today’s landed A320 9N-ALM 158-seat aircraft. At 11 am on April 12, A320 will leave for New Delhi, India; it will return to Kathmandu back at 4pm and leave for Doha, Qatar at 8pm. The very next day, the A320 will land in Kathmandu at 7:15am.

“Himalaya Airlines has planned to add next A319, 128 seater within few months of operation and adding more air routes – Chengdu, Lhasa, and Beijing, according to Raju KC – Himalaya’s General Manager.

The two aircraft A320 and A319 will fly to five destinations in China and India in 2016. In 2017, they have set a large plan, adding two more Airbus to its operation and extending more destinations like Hong Kong, Bangkok, Ahmadabad, Colombo, Malaysia, and Singapore.
