Helicopter Rescue: Swedish Martin Bzudek Evacuated from Manangaon
Today, Martin Bzudek, a swedish citizen , was evacuated from Manangaon by Manang Air helicopter . The patient was suffering from altitude sickness and stomach pains . The medical evacuation was carried out successfully by Instructor pilot Senior Capt.Steven Bruce Bokan despite high winds and extreme turbulence.
It has been reported that helicopter had flown for this rescue at around 8:30 am after dropping cargo at Manaslu Base Camp and patient had been flown to Vayodha Hospital of Kathmandu from Manangaon. The patient is still undergoing treatment.
