Grounded Nepal Airlines DHC 6-300 Twin- Otter maintenance work accomplished

Nepal Airlines Corporation’s Canadian made turboprop aircraft Twin-Otter with 9N-ABT registration, which had been grounded since four days after detection of a technical glitch in the left engine, maintenance has been successfully accomplished yesterday.
According to the source, the left engine failed to start and was malfunctioning which now has been replaced by the new turboprop engine that arrived at Nepalgunj Airport today for the safety flight operations.
The technical team of Nepal airlines has rectified the snag by working for four days and has accomplished the maintenance today at the Nepal Airlines Hangar at Nepalgunj. The aircraft’s operations will be resumed shortly. The repaired aircraft has been serving since 32 years to Nepal Airlines.
