Geeta Aviation celebrates Int’l Women’s Day 2018 with airline officials

International Women’s Day is celebrated in many countries around the world. It is a day when women are recognized for their achievements without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political.

Geeta Aviation, a prominent aviation training institute of Nepal conducted an encouragement program on its Branch Office based at Maitidevi in commemoration of the International Women’s Day, 2018.

The ceremony was conducted under the presence of highly ranked officials from airline operators and Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN). It was inaugurated by Managing Director of Saurya Airlines Mr. Gopal Bhattarai along with the presence of Vice Chief guest Mr. Umesh Acharya and Mr. Ghanashyam Acharya.

The institute also felicitated major women aviation delegates who have been serving Nepalese Aviation since long time namely Capt.  Bhawana Giri Pant (Saurya Airlines), Capt. Luna Pradhan (Yeti Airlines), Ms. Januka Khanal (CAAN FSSD Manager), Capt. Anju Khatiwada (Yeti Airlines), Ms. Sangam Karki (CAAN FSSD Dy. Manager), Ms. Rummy Shrestha (Buddha Air), Ms. Sabitri Rai Shrestha (CAAN FSSD) and Ms. Shailaja Munankarmi (CAAN FSSD Dy. Manager).

The special program today was concluded by the Chairman of Geeta Aviation Mr. Janak Adhikari.

Geeta Aviation was established in 2012 with the sole aim to guide promising candidates into the field of aviation. The institute has helped to produce hundreds of able and exceptional work force in Nepalese as well as International Aviation Industry.
