A retired Mesa Airlines employee recently confirmed his role in making false airline Ids were intended to obtain free flights on some other airline for oneself and others.
Hubbard Bell of Houston pleaded guilty to one fraud allegation to undertake wire forgery. Since getting dismissed from the carrier, the 32-year-old told the court he collaborated with others to obtain exposure to the company’s employee records to secure free fares on Spirit Airlines. The data contained their addresses, recruiting details, and identity numbers of workers. Bell generated 34 complimentary airline tickets on domestic routes for himself, while he hadn’t worked for Mesa Airlines. He even confirmed he helped produce and sell counterfeit Mesa worker Identity card for bogus passengers to his suspected co-defendants. The offenses occurred from February 2016 to November 2017.
By December, Bell is due to face sentence. He encounters up to 20 years in prison.

The fake pilot claimed to be the Captain of Lufthansa
A guy imitating a pilot was nabbed by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in 2019. The guy was known from New Delhi as Rajan Mahbubani. Rajan had been spotted posing as the captain of the Lufthansa German airline. He also had a bogus ID card to improve his get-up.
Mahbubani, a consulting firm director, told investigators that he acquired the fraudulent pilot identification card from Bangkok before a couple of years ago.
12 years of flying without Pilot license
Thomas Salme, a Swedish guy, appointed captain in 1999, and continued to work in Air One until 2006. He then moved to the Turkish and Corendon Airlines, where he served for a year as a Pilot, before being given a job at the Jet2. He wanted to return to work with Corendon Airlines after just ten months where he routinely flew passenger jets for another two years before being arrested in 2010.
In March 2010, Salme got arrested from Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, while sitting inside a Corendon Boeing 737’s cockpit with 101 travelers just a few moments even before take-off.
Indigo Staff with his girlfriend arrested with Fake IDs
In October 2019, Employee from Indigo Airlines and his girlfriend caught using a fake ID card to get the discount on air tickets. As per the official, The girl was found to be in a relationship with him and was using his sister’s ID card to take advantage of the discounted airline ticket.
