Cathay Pacific is adding another flight on its Kathmandu – Hong Kong route, giving passengers more opportunities to rediscover the people, places, and experiences that matter the most. The airline will operate one additional flight per week on Tuesday starting September 2023, providing travellers with direct access to Hong Kong in addition to seamless connections to onward destinations in the United States, Chinese Mainland, Canada, Australia, Japan and South Korea. Maintaining its focus on connecting Hong Kong to the world, Cathay Pacific is actively working to add more flights to its schedule to satisfy customer demand, in particular between Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland. Between now and the end of October, the number of return flights will be progressively increased to about 160 per week, covering 16 airports in 15 cities. This includes four return flights per day to Beijing, six return flights per day to Shanghai Pudong airport and nine return flights per week to Shanghai Hongqiao airport.
Customers flying from Kathmandu can now experience comfort on Cathay Pacific’s Airbus A330 aircraft, providing travellers with an unsurpassed cabin environment on its Kathmandu – Hong Kong route. The aircraft, which is configured with a two-class cabin layout, features Business and Economy class. The award-winning Business Class seats – i.e. the fully flat bed – will ensure our customers are comfortable. The Economy class, which comes equipped with state-of-the-art inflight entertainment, offers four times more content than before, including amazing Asian cinema, Hollywood hits, TV box sets and music.
