Finance Committee: Nation’s Second International Airport construction to accelerate shortly by Nepal Government itself.
The finance committee meeting held on Sunday under parliament assembly have directed Government to act by itself on Nepal’s second international Airport construction.
Since, it’s been a long run; however the project taking a tiny move, therefore committee urged government to handle the construction of Nijgadh International Airport, and adding it as a national pride, it soon to be concluded.
Committee Chairman prakash jawla said the government should emphases immediately to carry construction work ahead for the betterment of the nation. He added, government must have now strong head on financial resources to carry project further.
Somewhere down the line Nigadh International Airport is the national pride and now government must uplift this project not baring all its need like financial resources, airport management and its design, cost estimates, and land acquisition and resettlement arraignments to accelerate the project onward, he said.
Committee directed to the Nepal Government, Ministry of Finance and Culture, tourism and civil aviation Ministry to carry construction of airport on transparent manner using modern technology and begin to work shortly.
