Face shields not mandatory for domestic air travel in Nepal

The use of face shields, which are mandatory for domestic air travel, has been removed.

The Airlines Operator Association of Nepal has stated that the mandatory use of face shields has been removed with effect from September 1 (Wednesday).

The airlines have stopped distributing the face shields saying that the face shield has not been commonly used in International Airlines.

The transmission of the corona pandemic has decreased. The association has stated that it has decided to remove a mandatory face shield and wear only a mask.

Passenger pressure on air travel has increased tremendously when road transport is suffering due to the rainy season. Accordingly, the companies have also increased the number of flights.
