  • Travel Products and services

The young Lufthansa Group airline is continuously gearing for excellent services to ensure special passenger flight experiences. What are flight products and services of Eurowings Discover, and how are they?

Note: The onboard comfort, amenity, and passenger services differ according to the travel class you are booked on. Under Miles & More frequent flyer program, each ticket class awards you certain mileage credit, but this also varies according to the fare you pay.

  • Economy Class offerings

Economy-class fares won’t shock your wallet and make your dream of exploring the world a reality. As an economy class customer in an airport, you will get a baggage allowance of up to 23 kg. You can bring only 1 checked luggage and one carry-on up to 8 kg (max 55 x 40 x23cm) for free. You can either do online check-in or opt to check in at the airport.

Eurowings Discover economy class seats are divided into several categories on long-haul flights. Depending on the fare, you can book a standard Economy seat or choose between Economy Light, Economy Basic, Economic Basic Plus, and Economy Flex. Sometimes, you can get a comfortable seat with more legroom free of charge.

Regarding inflight entertainment, you can access an array of movies, and TV series highlights onboard Eurowings Discover’s aircraft. All you need to do is to connect your cellphone to Onboard Cloud. However, there is no Wi-Fi to stay in touch with the world below.

  • Premium Economy offerings

Premium Economy customers can expect wider seats with 50% more legroom with economy seats. The feel-good factors onboard include generous seat space, footrests, large HD monitors, non-alcoholic beverages, and amenity kits. In the airport, you can take two pieces of baggage, each up to 23 kg, and one hand-carry baggage up to 8 kg.

A preferential seat option is available, but you’ll have to pay certain charges. You won’t get alcoholic beverages other than wine, sparkling wine, and beer. Apart from one hot main dish with a side dish and a dessert, you’ll have to pay for other meals from the Onboard Bar.

  • Business Class offerings

Designed for high-end customers, Eurowings Discover Business Class offers seats transformable into full-size beds. The seats feature 200 cm of reclining space and offer passengers comfort, privacy, and spaciousness. As a subsidiary of Lufthansa, the business class amenity offered by Eurowings Discover is quite similar to the parent Lufthansa.

Despite having an in-flight entertainment system onboard, 4Y’s aircraft isn’t equipped with Wi-Fi technology. The lack of the latest in-flight experience (low-quality screens and limited entertainment selection) can make your long journey hard.

The in-flight meals present distinct and palatable flavors to reward your sense. You’ll get at least one three-close meal and an exclusive range of beverages. The crews are super-friendly, yet they may lack experience.
