Emirates Boeing 777-300ER was damaged after flying into a hail storm. The aircraft had taken off from Milan bound for New York and shortly after encountered a severe hail storm that damaged the aircraft and cracked the flight deck windshield. The aircraft safely landed back into MXP 90 minutes after it originally departed.
