Embraer ERJ-195 Of Lufthansa Airlines With 108 Passengers Onboard Saved From Collision With Drone

On Monday, Lufthansa Airlines Embraer ERJ-195 with 108 passengers onboard the flight from Munich,Germany to Warsaw,Poland successfully avoided collision with drone while approaching to Warsaw International Airport, Poland.

      It has been reported that drone was about 100m far from the plane at an altitude of 2,500 ft (760m) while making an attempt to land. As soon as pilots had seen drone, they had immediately requested Air Traffic Controller to change approach path. They even suggested Warsaw’s Air Traffic Controllers to  take care of their airspace from drones or any unmanned air vehicle.

       Fortunately, plane was able to touchdown the Warsaw Airport after 3 minutes of delay. One of the pilot onboard the flight reported that they were able to escape from big tragic accident.
