EASA concedes the Certification to Bell 505 Jet Ranger X

Bell Helicopter at Dubai Airshow on Saturday, its Bell 505 Jet Ranger X has received EASA certification. The aircraft already has certification from civil certification authorities in the U.S., Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Indonesia, New Zealand, Australia, South Korea and Japan.

“This is an important milestone for the Bell 505, and the timing of the news is very exciting,” said executive v-p of customer support and services Glen Isbell. “We are hosting our first Bell 505 European operators this month at our Bell training academy in Fort Worth, and the first aircraft in the region is scheduled to be delivered at the beginning of 2018.”

The Bell 505 Jet Ranger X is featured with a flat floor, open cabin that can be configured to carry up to four passengers or be adapted for mission needs. Earlier this year, Bell delivered the first 505 Jet Ranger X to Pylon Aviation owner Scott Urschel at the Heli-Expo show.

Fishtail Air and Heli-Air Nepal, charter helicopter operator of Nepal are planning to prepend two each factory-made Bell 505 Jet Ranger X helicopters soon into its fleet. Fishtail Air had already made an MOU signing agreement with Bell Helicopters on behalf of Simrik Helitrade for bringing two new Bell 505 series helicopter in October 7, 2016 as their fleet expansion plan.

 The reliability, speed, performance, and maneuverability of the Bell 505 and spacious cabin can be configured to carry up to four passengers or configured for internal cargo missions by removing quickly disconnect rear cabin seats and/or copilot seat. The Bell 505’s flat floor cabin design and large rectangular baggage compartment lets the Bell 505 adapt to your changing mission needs. These features combined with a proven and reliable drivetrain and rotor system make the Bell 505 a true multi-mission aircraft in the short light single-engine market
