Druk Air chartered flight visits Kathmandu today and evacuates a movie actress

A Druk Air chartered flight of ATR 42-600 aircraft from Bhutan landed Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport today’s morning for repartition flight. The flight with a registration ‘A5-JNW’ and flight number ‘KB-400’ visited Kathmandu for evacuating the Bhutanese passengers stranded in Nepal after the lockdown of the country. The flight had landed at 07:50 AM at Kathmandu and departed at 9:00 AM today for Bhutan.

The flight took off from Kathmandu as a flight number ‘KB-401’ for Paro Airport. The return flight was boarded by the crew and two passengers only. Among the passengers were a Bhutanese Actress who had visited Nepal for a shooting of a Nepali Movie. The actress named ‘Dhyen Chhoden’ had been staying in Nepal for about 80 days before returning to her country today. Now she is quarantined in her country for 21 days after landing at Paro.

The flight also flew 700 KGs of Cargo of ‘Triveni Exports’ and another passenger named ‘Tsonam Tongbey’ to Paro. A lot of international repartition flights are being carried out with special permission to evacuate the citizens of different countries locked in Nepal after more than 3 weeks of lockdown in the country for the prevention of pandemic ‘COVID-19’ virus.
